How It All Started
My Story So Far
My name is Michael Stevenson, and I am the owner of Scrap Man Dover. On January 1, 2022, I made the decision to become self-employed and establish my own business as a scrap metal collector. With limited financial resources, I successfully saved enough funds to purchase my first vehicle, a Renault Kangoo, which came with a year’s MOT. After acquiring the required licenses from Dover District Council, I began to develop my business.
Mission.
Our mission as a Scrap Metal Collection is to promote responsible recycling and disposal of scrap metal to help preserve the environment and build a sustainable future.

We strive to enable a friendly metal recycling services and are committed to customer service, transparency, and reliability.
Scrap Man Dover
In January 2023, after dedicating myself to working seven days a week for the preceding year, I purchased my first van, a Renault Traffic. I continue to utilize this van to this day and intend to do so until it is no longer feasible to repair it.
This is my latest acquisition, purchased in June 2024, intended for the transportation of scrap vehicles. I may also consider expanding into transportation services in the future.
